Helping your child grow in confidence and skills across English, Maths, Science, and beyond — with personalised, one-to-one tutoring tailored just for them.
English
I offer personalised English tutoring for primary-aged children (Reception to Year 6), designed to support their development in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and comprehension. Whether your child is just beginning to blend sounds or preparing for Year 6 SATs, I create engaging lessons that match their level, interests, and goals.
English support includes:
Phonics & early reading (EYFS & KS1)
Spelling, punctuation & grammar (SPaG)
Creative & descriptive writing
Comprehension skills
SATs preparation (KS2)
Vocabulary building and reading fluency
Maths
Many children struggle with maths at some point – and that’s perfectly okay. My goal is to help your child feel more confident with numbers by turning tricky topics into simple steps they can understand and enjoy. I focus on building solid foundations and positive learning habits, so your child gains the skills (and self-belief) they need to succeed.
Maths support includes:
Number bonds and place value
Addition, subtraction, multiplication & division
Fractions, decimals & percentages
Problem-solving & reasoning
Times tables mastery
SATs preparation (KS2)
11+
The 11+ can feel like a big step – but with the right support, your child can approach it with confidence.
I can offer specialist one-to-one 11+ tutoring for children preparing for grammar school entrance exams in Lincolnshire, focusing on verbal and non-verbal reasoning. My lessons are structured, supportive, and designed to build the key skills and exam techniques needed to succeed – without overwhelming your child.
...and more!
Learning goes far beyond English and maths – and I’m proud to support children in developing their knowledge and confidence across a wide range of foundation subjects, too.
These subjects help children understand the world around them, express their creativity, and build critical thinking skills. My tutoring sessions can complement school learning or offer extra support where needed, all in a fun and engaging way.
